Wedding Ring Too Small After Pregnancy

A ring size after pregnancy is a common question, especially for women who have given birth. After all, you’ve been out of the loop for months and have just started your period again. And so, your ring size might be slightly off. However, this does not mean that you should replace your wedding ring as it can easily be fixed with a ring sizer.

What Is A Ring Sizer?

A ring sizer is a small tool that helps you find the correct size of your engagement or wedding rings in just a few seconds. The tool works by passing over the inside of the ring and fitting into various sized holes on its surface to measure its diameter. By comparing this measurement to a standard chart, you can find out what size you need to buy to fit comfortably in your new finger (or fingers). Ring sizers are available at most jewelers or online shops that sell rings and are extremely cheap as they can be used multiple times.

How To Measure Your Ring Size?

There are many different ways of measuring your ring size but I will focus on the most accurate one which is using a digital caliper. This is the easiest and most accurate way of measuring your ring size and is generally used by professionals. However, if you don’t have a digital caliper, there are other ways of measuring your ring size.

You can use a string to measure the diameter of your ring and compare it to a standard chart. This method is often used by jewelers who want to check if your ring size is in stock before ordering it. Another way of measuring your ring size is by passing the finger under a ruler or a piece of paper that fits snugly over the finger. It can be done with a tape measure but I prefer using my fingers because they are easier to grip and fit in my palm more easily.

When To Change Your Ring Size?

If you have lost weight or gained weight since you bought your engagement or wedding rings, then it might be time for you to change your ring size! You should not just guess at what the correct size should be but instead consult with a professional who can help you determine whether or not you need to get new rings. If you are wearing rings that were too big for your finger after pregnancy, then it is likely that they will no longer fit properly when they return to their original size. It is always better to get a new ring when your finger is smaller as this will ensure that it fits comfortably in your finger.

Go to the Jeweler and Ask For Help

If you are still unsure about your ring size after giving birth, then it is always best to go to a jeweler and ask for help. A good jeweler will have an accurate ring sizer in stock that can help you find the correct size of your ring so that it fits properly.
